As you approach Nevada Falls (right side of photo), you can see Half Dome still high above. Some hikers confuse the dome in the middle of this photo as Half Dome, but it's actually the dome on the far left. |

Here is a view from near Glacier Point of Half Dome (top left), Vernal Falls (low in center), and Nevada Falls (right). Just beyond Nevada Falls is Little Yosemite Valley. The Half Dome trail briefly passes along the left side of this valley before veering even more to the left and heading up the side of the ridge towards Half Dome. |
