Whiskeytown National Recreation Area

Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is located in Northern California where Klamath Mountain Range and the northern edge of the Central Valley meet. There are beautiful waterfalls, gurgling streams, majestic mountains and, of course, refreshing Whiskeytown Lake. The park is home to a wide variety of animal and plant life. There are plenty of places to experience water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping.
