The Old Cliff Dwellers Lodge
(2 photos to the above right & 1 photo below) was
originally built in 1925. In 1949 the Greene family bought it and
converted it into a residence and restaurant where they lived and worked
until 1951 when the new Cliff Dweller Lodge was opened. |

The Navajo Bridge is a steel arch bridge that carries
traffic across the 700 foot deep Marble Canyon. The old bridge on
the left is now only open to foot traffic, while the newer bridge on the
right carries traffic across the Colorado River. There is no other
vehicle bridge for over 500 miles downstream. |
