Kawuneeche Visitor Center

The Kawuneeche Visitor Center is located 1 mile north of the town of Grand Lake on U.S. Route 34 near the park's western entrance and is open all year.                                                                       View visitor center hours

Displays include a topographical relief map of the park

Visitors can take a walk with a ranger or listen to illustrated programs on Saturday nights. There is a 20 minute film on the park (shown on request). Get oriented with the topographical relief map of the park. Learn about the Colorado River and its people. Buy a book. Reserve backcountry camping sites. Handicapped accessible restrooms available.
