"Hot Rock" is about 18 feet wide, 20 feet long, and is estimated it to be about 14 feet thick. It was carried by blast and mud flows four or five miles from Lassen Peak crater to where it now lies. An eye witness said that forty hours later it was still sizzling in water. |
