Cajon Group
The Cajon Group is made up of ruins of a small
village. The surviving structures are situated at the head of a
small canyon. It looks like 80 to 100 people may have lived there.
In the canyon below, the remains of
an earthen dam built to store water can still be seen today. Under a
ledge are a few small structures and pictographs painted in the Mesa Verde
pottery style.
