Faraway Ranch (above), was a pioneer homestead and later a working
cattle and guest ranch. It is an historic example of human
transformation of the western frontier from wilderness to
settlement. The ranch house is furnished with historic
artifacts.
Tours of the Faraway Ranch House provide a chance to learn about
life in the early 1900s for the Ericksons, a Swedish immigrant
family that was one of the first to settle in the area. |
