Chamizal National Memorial is located on El Paso, Texas on the border with Mexico.  South The Chamizal Treaty of 1963 was an important point in diplomatic relations between Mexico and the United States. Chamizal National Memorial was established to remember this treaty which resulted in the peaceful settlement of a century-long boundary dispute between the neighboring countries.  Chamizal National Memorial is dedicated to promoting the spirit of understanding and goodwill between two bordering nations.

Chamizal National Memorial is a vehicle designed to increase visitor awareness of the values of cooperation, diplomacy and cultural ideals in conflict resolution.
