Una Vida and Fajada Butte

Una Vida, "one life" in Spanish.  Una Vida is the fifth largest great house in Chaco Canyon with a floor area of 8750 square meters. The 29 tree-ring dates range from A.D. 847 to A.D. 1093, giving it one of the longest construction periods of any of the Chacoan structures.

Fajada Butte contains the well-known three slabs and spiral petroglyphs which mark the cycles of both sun and moon. Learn more about this on the University of CO at Boulder website.
