Afternoon sunlight bathes the Golden Throne in Capitol Gorge. Shrub
junipers bushes cover the lower wash. The upper Chinle Formation and
Wingate Sandstone form the dipping rock ridge in the mid ground. Golden
Throne in the back, consists of Navajo Sandstone.
