The Battle of Monette’s Ferry took place in April, 1864, on a battlefield that is now cut through by a highway running from Natchitoches to Alexandria, Louisiana.  More

St. Augustine Catholic Church

St. Charles Catholic Church, located in the community of Bermuda was established as a mission church for the St. Augustine congregation in the early 1900s. St. Charles, which is no longer active and is owned by the St. Augustine Historical Society.
