There are a plethora of visitor centers along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Some are open year-round and virtually all centers are open from late May
through the beginning of November most years. Here's a list of the
visitor centers:
Humpback Rocks, James River, Peaks of Otter, Explore Park Visitor Center,
Rocky Knob, Blue Ridge Music Center, Moses Cone information desk,
bookstore and Craft Center, Linn Cove, Linville Falls, Museum of
North Carolina Minerals, Craggy Gardens,
Folk Art Center, Blue Ridge Parkway Destination Center, and
Waterrock Knob.
