Stop at the South Rim Visitor Center for useful information, exhibits, an introductory film, and publications.  There's a Junior Ranger program for kids.  On cold, windy or rainy days, visitors may enjoy the majestic view of the canyon from inside the visitor center through large picture windows.

The visitor center is open all year.
Hours: Fall, Winter, Spring: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Summer: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
