After another half mile on sometimes hard-to-follow trail, hikers will reach Double Arch. Double Arch is two arches stacked on top of each other.  It's hard to see the lower arch as you approach it on the short, sandy spur trail, because brush is blocking it.  It's easier to see the arch once you pass it and have  continued up the trail to towards Dark Angel.
