The complete 7.2 mile loop hike will take you to Tunnel Arch, Pine Tree Arch, Landscape Arch, Wall Arch, Partition Arch, Navajo Arch, Black Arch, Double O Arch, Dark Angel monolith, Private Arch and a trip through Fin Canyon. You may spot other unmarked arches along the way if you have sharp eyes. This is a moderate to moderately strenuous hike with about a 400 foot elevation variation. There is a fair amount of scrambling required up a several rock fins that can be dangerous, especially when snowy or icy. On the primitive portion of the trail, there is one spot you may have to wade through water if there has been a recent rain. The hike takes most people 4-5 hours to complete including the spur trails. |
