Delicate Arch

Park Visitors flock to Delicate Arch just before sunset.  The view is well with the interesting 3 mile round-trip hike to the arch.

Trail to Delicate Arch - Arches National Park

The trail goes by the old Wolf Ranch house, crosses a suspension bridge, traverses slick-rock hills and scenic washes, then clings to the edge of a cliff shortly before arriving at the arch (picture at above right).  The hike is about 3 miles round trip. (click here for more views from the trail)

To the right of the Delicate Arch bowl (above) is the rock spire shown at the right.  Note the Bighorn Sheep standing on it.

Delicate Arch as viewed through a small arch.  You can enjoy this view by scrambling up a sandstone ledge, not long before the trails end.
